Dimethicone is a silicone fluid used in formulations where properties such as conditioning, slip, spreadability, sensory feel and surface performance are relevant.

Cyclopentasiloxane is a volatile silicone material used as a carrier in selected personal care formulations where lightweight application and transient sensory characteristics are desired.

Dimethiconol is a silicone material used in applications where film-forming, conditioning and lasting sensory characteristics are relevant.

Amodimethicone is an amino-functional silicone. Within the current SHINESIL™ portfolio, SHINESIL™ ADM is positioned for targeted hair-conditioning applications.

09What is Phenyl Trimethicone?

Phenyl Trimethicone is an aromatic-modified silicone associated with high-gloss formulation applications. Silicoshine offers this material as SHINESIL™ PTM.

10What is PEG-12 Dimethicone?

PEG-12 Dimethicone is a PEG-modified silicone surfactant used to help bridge water and silicone phases in selected formulation systems.
