Is this dimethicone non-comedogenic?
Yes. Despite forming a protective barrier, the molecular structure of our dimethicone features wide gaps between molecules. This makes the film highly breathable, non-acnegenic, and non-comedogenic, making it safe for facial skincare.

Why is the Dimethiconol blended with Cyclopentasiloxane?
Pure Dimethiconol is an extremely thick, viscous gum that is nearly impossible to spread on its own. By blending it with Cyclopentasiloxane, it becomes a fluid, easy-to-handle liquid. The volatile carrier flashes off upon application, seamlessly depositing the rich Dimethiconol gum exactly where it is needed.
